Beautiful musical Victorian style doll - Louisa - by Wayne Kleskin (1980) Katherine’s Collection is 17", porcelain head, hands and feet, cloth body, and weighted bum/belly. She has molded brown hair, blue glass eyes and long eyelashes. Music Box plays ''Brahms''s Lullaby'' (Lullaby and Goodnight). Doll is in very good condition, no stain, or tears . Christening gown is 36/37” , made of Beige satin overlaid with Ivory colored lace, and 4 different lace ruffles at hem, followed by pleated satin. The bonnet has lace with sequins, pearls as well as multiple lace trimmings, and beige ribbon tie. Two beige satin rose flowers decorate the waist area, with very long ivory ribbons. The back of ribbon is ivory, but the velvet has yellowed, not for child <8
Doll was purchased from an estate sale of a doll collector. Doll had been on display in a cabinet andl has been surface cleaned. No odors. No sign of wear.
